September 19, 2006 - Jeremy
Miller has not left racing completely. Although Jeremy
has not been able to race since June, the team has kept busy with the
USAR Hooters Pro Cup series. "I've been busier dealing with
racing stuff lately than when we were racing ourselves," stated Jon
Miller. In August Jeremy's
brother (Jon) and mother (Bonnie) traveled up to Madison, WI for the
final race of the Northern Division schedule. The two were on
hand to help the #77N car of
JD Leonard. After that weekend, all eyes were on the new
Iowa Speedway. The Miller family was disappointed that
Jeremy would not be eligible to race in his home state, but still
wanted to be part of the inaugural weekend at the new facility.
Jeremy, Jon and Rebecca Miller were able to be part of the Soy
Biodiesel 250 that weekend by helping the #71N team of Lonnie Rush,
Jr. Jeremy's father, Rod, was also able to be there to help out
the #34S of
Mike Herman, Jr. Everyone had a good experience and was
happy to be part of their home state's big opening weekend.
Jeremy has also looked into renting a
car to run the ARCA race at Iowa Speedway in October. However,
no plans are pending for that at this time. The team will
continue to look into that endeavor.

Now the team looks ahead to another
weekend of racing action. Jeremy, Jon and Aaron Price will be
heading down to Kansas City at the end of this month to help pit the
NASCAR Busch Series car of Chris Horn. "There are two things I
really wanted to do this month," said Jon Miller, "and I have marked
one off the list by being over the wall in Iowa Speedway's very first
race. Now I want to get over the wall for a Busch race.
These are two really great opportunities for me."
Meanwhile, nobody has given up on
racing in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup next year. The team's truck
and trailer have been sold. However, the
Jeremy Miller
Racing media kit has been updated and the team is going to make
one more big effort to secure sponsorship for 2007. "If we can
get the sponsorship money, we're going to race," Jeremy said.
The team really wants to find that sponsorship that will let them do
things right to contend in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup series.
