"I just want to race."  That's Jeremy Miller's attitude.  "If it's a Hooters Pro Cup car, a late model at Hawkeye Downs or a dirt modified on the USMTS series, whatever."

However, he had to make a tough decision about the future of his racing career after the Aaron's 212 at Indianapolis.  "We just can't do this out of pocket anymore," Jeremy said.  "I've been fortunate enough to run three partial seasons in the Hooters Pro Cup series and it's been great.  And my sponsors over the years have been great, too.  We just haven't been able to pick up enough to run a full schedule.  I want nothing more than to be able to get a ride to keep me racing."

Jeremy definitely has been very fortunate.  That 14 year old kid strapping into his first stock car in Eldon, IA would have never

dreamed that one day he would be traveling with a national stock car tour.  But he has done just that, even while having little to no budget to work with.  Jeremy's goal was to race on his winnings and he has come as close to doing that as possible.

"In my opinion he's been able to do the most with the least," commented Jon Miller about Jeremy's racing career.  "We've always been in the situation of trying to beat the guys that had way more money.  And he'll try as hard as he can to find a way to do it.  He's had a lot of very respectable finishes in his USAR career so far.  He went out on a limb and put everything he had into racing the Hooters Pro Cup series.  You have to respect that desire."

That's not too bad considering only three people work on the car who all have full time jobs.  But, for now, Jeremy has to look ahead to what his racing future holds.  His family based team continues to look for sponsorship that would carry the

team forward.  "If a good sponsorship came, we could get going again.  But right now we're at the point where we have to try selling the whole operation," Jeremy said.

Jeremy definitely wants to continue to be out there racing.  He is very easy on equipment and knows how to keep his cool in the race car.  Years of racing experience and knowledge of race cars makes him a very smart addition to any race team in any series.
