Driver/Team Bio:

Jeremy Miller started racing at 14 years old.  As his birthday present, Jeremy’s mother signed the waiver allowing him to race at the Eldon Raceway in Eldon, IA.  Jeremy started out in what was called the “Bomber” class.  After a couple years of experience, Jeremy was winning races consistently against others more than twice his age, including his father.  Later, Jeremy moved up to the Stock Car class where he raced for years throughout Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska where he won two track championships, numerous feature races and prestigious specials along the way.

In 2003, Jeremy took his first step into asphalt racing.  He attended Finish Line Racing School in Florida.  That first year he tried out the ASA circuit.  Things didn’t go Jeremy’s way, but he didn’t give up.  In 2004 he moved to the Hooters Pro Cup series and finally got the asphalt racing experience he needed.  His improvements showed from race to race.  In 2005, with the competition level rising dramatically, Jeremy continued his improvement and learning.  While running on just his race earnings, Jeremy qualified for the 2005 Championship Series.

In 2006, Jeremy Miller Racing will continue on as a family effort as it has been since entering the Hooters Pro Cup series.  Jeremy’s grandfather, father, mother, wife, brother and sister-in-law are all regular faces at the track.  Everyone on the team is looking toward a successful year and corporate sponsorship will be a major factor with that.  Jeremy Miller Racing is always searching for sponsorship.  The entire team and family are committed to being the best representatives available for any company willing to help this racing venture.

An Interview with Jeremy Miller

SCR - How long have you been racing and how did you get started in it?

Jeremy - 33 years old

SCR - What are your favorite type(s) of music, movie, television show and food?

Jeremy - Rock & roll music, The Waterboy, Law & Order on TV and Lasagna.

SCR -  What is your favorite place to eat?

Jeremy - Applebee’s

SCR - How can fans get autographs from Jeremy Miller?

Jeremy - You can email jon@jeremy-miller.com with your mailing address and we will get signed autograph cards mailed to you.

SCR - You were recently married, how do you like married life?

Jeremy - It hasn’t been very long; I’ll get back to you on that. “Just kidding”

SCR - What racer do you admire most and why? (Past or present)

Jeremy - I liked Alan Kulwicki because he was able to achieve the most with the least.

SCR - In you opinion, what is the best way for a kid to get started in racing today?

Jeremy - I guess start out in go karts and work your way up.  That’s the most inexpensive way to get started and begin getting racing experience.

Jeremy - I would like to try to run the full season.  I definitely want to get in to and run the Championship Series.  Sponsorship will dictate how much we can really do.

Jeremy - Sponsors can contact my father, Rod Miller.  They can also email jon@jeremy-miller.com if they want us to get a hold of them.  You can view our 2006 Media Kit online and there you will find his phone numbers. http://www.jeremy-miller.com/sponsor.htm
