– As the new year is just starting, Jeremy's 2005 racing preparation is
already underway. In the last week of December, Jeremy took his
Chevrolet Monte Carlo to the Laughlin Racing Products shop in
Simpsonville, SC.
Jeremy had two major
updates done to the car while there. First and foremost, a new
front clip on the race car. The employees at the Laughlin shop put
their newest style front clip on the car. "The new updates will
allow the car to have more travel in the front suspension," Jeremy
stated, "so that we will be able to run softer springs and allow the car
to be lower entering and going through the corners. I hope we
really improve the performance of the car with these setups."
The second update was
to get a cambered rear end in the car. New tubes had to be
installed on the rear end and that work was not yet completed when
Jeremy headed home. However, it is on its way and will be able to
be put back in the car very soon.
Jeremy has not been
able to make any concrete plans for the 2005
USAR Hooters Pro Cup racing season yet. "I want to run the
full schedule, but we will have to see how things go and what
sponsorship opportunities come along," Jeremy said.
There is a lot of
work ahead for the team these next few months. We will keep you
updated throughout the winter months here on Jeremy-Miller.com.
