March 27, 2004 - BF Goodrich held an open tire test for the
Hooters Pro Cup Northern Division at
Mansfield Motorsports Speedway on Saturday. With inclement
weather throughout the week, only eight teams decided to participate in
the tire test. However, with hard work from track officials, teams
had an open track for almost four hours.
BF Goodrich sent five
employees to the tire test, which gave teams a great opportunity to work
with them. This gave Jeremy a great opportunity to run his Hooters
Pro Cup Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the first time.
Jeremy will have the number 18 for the Hooters Pro Cup 2004 schedule
Jeremy was able to run well over 100 laps at the banked 1/2 mile
track. Taking his time getting used to the car proved valuable.
By the end of the day he was feeling very comfortable in the car.
The Hooters Pro Cup Northern Division starts its season on Saturday,
April 17th, at Big Daddy's South Boston Speedway in Virginia.
Jeremy plans to attend this first event and hopes to gain more asphalt
experience.
