| February 12, 2004 - Jeremy has announced today
he plans to participate in the
USAR Hooters Pro Cup Northern Series in 2004.
"I am very excited
to have this opportunity to race in the Hooters Pro Cup series. My
current plans are to run the first two or three races in the Northern
Series. At that time I will evaluate plans for the rest of the
2004 season," Jeremy stated. "I look forward to receiving help
from Brian and John Eckliff, who previously owned the car. Also, I
will get some help from Mike Loescher of
Finish Line Racing School."
The Hooters Pro Cup series has two divisions, Northern and Southern,
which run separately throughout the year. After crowning a
champion in each division, there is a five race Championship Series
which determines the overall champion of the USAR Hooters Pro Cup
series. The series boasts the motto "Short trackin' the way it
oughta be!" The Southern Series starts its season on February
28th, at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, FL. The Northern
Series will have its season opening race April 17th at Big Daddy's South
Boston Speedway in Virginia. USAR Hooters Pro Cup races are
televised on SPEED Channel. Races are shown at 9:00PM EST on
Thursday, then again at 12:00PM EST on Friday.
Jeremy also plans to stick to his racing roots in 2004. He will
occasionally bring out his dirt stock car, affectionately named
"Gertrude", during the year. He will likely race at the Southern
Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, IA and the Scotland County Speedway in
Memphis, MO.
