June 15, 2003 - Curt Beckler of Curt's Racing Enterprises has agreed to help MGM Motorsports with their continued efforts in the American Speed Association series. The arrangement is already in effect as Curt is preparing the car for the next race in Mansfield, OH. Curt has committed to the next two races (June 21st at Mansfield, OH and June 28th at Indianapolis Raceway Park). Curt and MGM Motorsports will then evaluate the partnership. Curt currently runs his own business, Curt's Racing Enterprises, in Tiffin, IA. CRE builds and maintains race cars for dirt and asphalt. Curt also has history as a driver and ASA crew chief. He raced dirt modifieds and late models from 1988-1993. Curt was the 1993 rookie of the year in the Busch All Star series for late models. Curt then switched to the role of crew chief for Brad Loney in the ASA series in 1994. This lasted four years in which Curt also drove in two ASA races during the 1998 season. MGM Motorsports is excited to see Curt's expertise in action next weekend at Mansfield, OH. |
