August 2, 2003 - Race day at Berlin Raceway in Marne, MI did not start out as well as the MGM Motorsports team hoped.  The first practice session did not result in much progress for the car's setup.  A lap time of 18.426 was Jeremy's quickest of the session.

The second practice session started out much better.  The car looked much better and more competitive.  Jeremy was then able to make changes to the car and improve his lap time to 18.330 seconds, picking up almost one tenth of a second.

The car awaits clear skies and open race track

Once again, Jeremy drove the car hard in qualifying showing his progress in learning the qualifying "experience".  However, the car still had some handling issues as it went into a four wheel drift during the first lap.  Then, Jeremy nicely saved a very loose exit off turn four coming to the finish of his qualifying run.  His quickest lap was 17.475 seconds which was a very nice gain of 0.855 seconds.  Unfortunately, the gain was still not enough to make it into the Meijer 250.
